Only 4% of commercial credit goes to small scale farmers in Kenya and across  the Sub Saharan Africa region, the major cause of this is lack of digitization.Whereby there is lack and difficulties of accessing the Bio and Economic data of smallholder farmers, this inturn  causes small holder farmers not to access commercial credit due to  limited records on their production, yields, historic payments,farm size and markets.
